Walang Kawala

“Walang Kawala” (No Way Out) is a gay-themed movie by multi-awarded director Joel Lamangan and could be the Philippine’s answer to the Oscar-winning “Brokeback Mountain” and “Pulp Fiction.”
“Walang Kawala” features Polo Ravales and Joseph Bitangcol playing the most daring role in their career so far. Produced by Manny Valera with screenplay by Eric Ramos, Walang Kawala is a very promising movie that could reap various awards abroad.
Also starring in Walang Kawala are Jean Garcia and Emilio Garcia. Introducing in the movie are newbies Althea Vega and Marco Morales. Marco Morales has frontal scene on this film.

Prayers for Bobby is a 2009 television film that premiered on the Lifetime network on January 24, 2009. It is based on the book, Prayers for Bobby: A Mother's Coming to Terms with the Suicide of Her Gay Son, by Leroy F. Aarons, which is itself based on the true story of the life and legacy of Bobby Griffith, a young gay man who killed himself due to his mother's and community's religious intolerance.

Imoral is an indie film about an unusual triangle relationship of a husband with his wife and his lover.
Imoral is helmed by Adolfo Alix Jr. and from the makers of the hit indie movie “Daybreak.” It stars Paolo Paraiso, in his most daring role as a bisexual taxi driver who divides his time between his lover and his wife. Also starring in the movie are Katherine Luna, Arnold Reyes with Edgar Allan Guzman. Katherine is a former waitress who is now selling beauty products for a living. Theater actor Arnold Reyes plays an engineer who is nurturing lover of Paolo.
The film explores the dynamics of the relationship of a husband with his wife and his lover – and they live all together in one house.
Supporting Cast includes Perla Bautista, Kristoffer King, Adriana Agcaoili and Cherry Madrigal. The movie is produced by Videoflick Productions Inc, written by Gerry Gracio.

Boy

Boy is a 2009 Filipino film by renowned and critically-acclaimed Filipino director Auraeus Solito. The 83-minute film produced by recounts a young poet's infatuation with a young macho dancer.
“BoY” is a coming-of-age story about a young middle-class man who falls in love with a dancing rent-boy named Aries. The young budding poet, who is unnamed, observes lip-synching drag-queens and dancing rent-boys in a gay bar one evening and finds himself attracted to Aries. Selling his prized collection of action heroes and comic books in order to afford Aries for one night, the poet brings Aries home for the New Year. Sparks fly while celebratory fireworks go off outside the house and the men forge a fragile connection that neither of them is certain will last. This is an idealistic, coming-of-age tale of a young man who arrives at his first lesson about love, and who learns to grow confidently into his own sexuality.

“Pitik Bulag,” a film about a man’s sudden spate of good luck, has received an “A” rating from the Cinema Evaluation Board for its “tightly woven story” and “excellent” direction by Gil Portes. The movie is written by Eric Ramos and featuring Marco Alcaraz, Victor Neri and newcomer Paloma.

“Pitik Bulag” revolves around Angelo (Alcaraz), a downtrodden movie stuntman who stumbles upon millions of pesos taken from a bank heist.

According to Portes, the film is loosely based on the RCBC bank robbery in Laguna in May 2008.

Bayaw

Bayaw indie film is a story about the bond between two brother-in-laws. Nilo Vergara (Paolo Rivero) is a policeman who lives an ordinary life with his wife, Pia Jacinto (played by Kaye Alipio, Philippine Survivor castaway). Their lives take an unfortunate turn when Nilo looses his badge to a frame up and is forced to depend on Pia for his livelihood. Pia becomes burdened and resentful of the responsibility of taking care of his husband and her drifter young brother, Rhennan (Janvier Daily). One day, Rhennan witnesses Nilo accidentally killing Pia after a heated argument. Both in-laws decide to run from the law and become fugitives. As the story progresses, the real events behind the death of Pia is slowly revealed through flashbacks and shifts in character point-of-views.
Andrew Miguel is introduced in this movie he has done some acting in the straight-to- video release, FRESH MAN. Andrew plays character, Erick Cana, the mysterious figure who saves the two brother-in-laws in the most unlikely times. His devious and sometimes, mischievous intentions complicate the lives of the two lead actors but his connection to Nilo and Rhennan is finally revealed at the end of the movie.
